This past weekend, Jetton & Meredith criminal law attorney and Adjunct Professor Jason St. Aubin coached the trial team for the University of Illinois College of Law in the Capitol City Challenge trial team competition. The competition is held yearly in Washington, DC by the American University Washington College of Law. The field included all of the most prominent law school trial programs in the country. During the competition, Professor St. Aubin's students competed against Temple University and Fordham, two of the top five programs. While they came up short of advancing, all of their opponents were impressed with the University of Illinois professionalism and poise. So much so that they made it a point to invite the students out after the round concluded! Professor St. Aubin will be back in the fall semester to prepare another team to be ready for trial competition.
